If one sees the whole world in the dark and the moon is still radiant in the skies in a dream, it means that the governor will temporarily relinquish his entire duties to his chief minister or secretary, and that thieves and robbers will cluster around them for business. If one then sees the daylight in his dream, it means that such an adversity will pass. If people are under siege in the dream and the daylight dawns after a long dark night in a dream, it means that their siege will be lifted. If people are suffering from high prices and someone sees that dream, it means that prices will go back to normal. If they are suffering from tyranny, it too will pass.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Salam: (In a dream) I saw myself in a garden, and there was a pillar in the middle of the garden, and there was a handhold at the top of the pillar. I was asked to climb it. I said, "I cannot." Then a servant came and lifted up my clothes and I climbed (the pillar), and then got hold of the handhold, and I woke up while still holding it. I narrated that to the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) who said, "The garden symbolizes the garden of Islam, and the handhold is the firm Islamic handhold which indicates that you will be adhering firmly to Islam until you die." Will ride on people?s necks and have as many followers as were seen carrying the dreamer in the dream. ? Seeing oneself on a bier without anybody carrying it: Will go to jail. ? A ruler, a chief, a merchant, or a manufacturer seeing himself on a bier rolling or gliding on the soil: Will board a ship. ? Carrying a bier:? (1) If eligible, will govern a province as prominent as the people marching in the funeral procession.? (2) Illicit gains.? (3) Will intercede in favour of a religiously corrupt person. ? According to Ibn Siren: ? Seeing one?s own funeral and people weeping and paying homage to the dreamer: Happy ending. ? Seeing one?s own funeral and nobody crying, but people rather speaking ill of the dreamer: Unhappy ending. ? Nobody walking in your funeral: Decaying prestige.
